The 2-Pole Tent
The 2-pole tent, sometimes called a marquee or frame marquee, is the classic choice for outdoor events in South Africa. It gets its name from the two large centre poles that support a wide, open span of white canvas or PVC, giving you maximum covered space with no columns in the way of your guests.
They come in different sizes to suit the number of guests you're expecting. As a general guide, 2-pole tents can comfortably seat anywhere from around 50 to 150 or more people depending on the size and how you lay out the space. We don't publish fixed prices because tent hire isn't one-size-fits-all. The cost depends on which tent you need, how long you need it for, where your venue is and whether you're adding chairs, tables or other items to the order.
What we can promise is that your quote will be itemised and clear — you'll know exactly what you're paying for before you commit. Delivery, setup and collection within the Durban metro are included. A small travel fee applies for venues outside the metro, still within our 50km service area.
